Japanese anime/manga news site Akiba Souken has announced the result of its most recent online poll "Anime Grand Prize 2018." The most popular anime chosen by Japanese anime fans was Dropkick on My Devil!! based on Yukiwo's comedy manga, which collected twice more votes than Cells at Work! and Encourage of Climbing Third Season in the second place. As reported, nine-member voice actress unit Aqours from the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise and the Touken Danshi unit from the Touken Ranbu musical series are scheduled to make guest appearance at NHK's forthcoming 69th Kohaku Uta Gassen to be aired on December 31. It was officially announced at the CygamesFes2018 event held at Makuhari Messe today on December 15 that an anime adaptation of Umayon, a spin-off four panel manga of Cygames' multimedia franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby, is now in the works.
